The biggest mistake any small business can make is thinking like a small business.

Don’t know where to start

We understand there are many reasons why your business accounts can get out of hand or out of date.  It’s not deliberate.  You had good intentions.  Time runs away from you because you are busy running a business.  Before you know it, it’s BAS time AGAIN and you know you’re going to have to spend the weekend getting it done.  Or maybe you had someone who you thought you could trust but got it all wrong because of their inexperience.   Whatever the reasons, we are here to help.   We will work with you to rectify your financial and business information as smoothly as possible.

Rescue bookkeeping often involves being a detective who must analyse the errors or omissions in the accounts and make sense of the data that is currently in disarray.  Frequently it is necessary to correct errors from prior years that are affecting current reporting.

This detailed investigation and correction of accounts is highly specialised work.

We will begin by reviewing and reconciling all balance sheet accounts, including GST and ATO liabilities, superannuation, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable and correcting previous BAS lodgements if required. Rescue work often includes correcting errors in payroll, such as termination payments and leave payments, and resolving incorrect pay runs.

Once we have cleaned up your accounts, you can be assured that you have up-to-date ATO lodgements, dependable data and accurate reporting.
